When Is the 2024 Marathon?

The marathon will take place on March 17. The event kicks off at the start line at Dodger Stadium at 7 a.m. After starting the course at Dodger Stadium, runners will cover 26.2 miles to reach the finish line at Avenue of the Stars in Century City. The running path brings participants through iconic Los Angeles neighborhoods and famous Hollywood landmarks! Race Weekend Itinerary

While the race takes place on Sunday, Los Angeles dedicates a three-day weekend to marathon-related fanfare and events! From March 15 through March 17, attendees can enjoy a variety of events that bring runners and supporters together. The highlight of the weekend is a festival at the world-famous Dodger Stadium. In addition, the LA Big 5K and LA Kids Run both take place on Saturday.

The Los Angeles Marathon hosts an official post-race celebration called the Finish Festival at Century Park. This fun event offers an opportunity for athletes who have been training for months to unwind! The post-race party includes live entertainment, interactive activities, and a Heineken Beer Garden. All race participants over 21 years of age will be given one complimentary Heineken or Heineken 0.0. The Finish Festival is open to all members of the public! The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on race day!

Parking for the Marathon

Are you wondering where to park for the marathon in Los Angeles? Paid parking with free shuttle service is available at the finish line in Century City through the marathon organizer. Purchasing parking ahead of time is recommended in order to ensure a smooth race morning for all! You can purchase parking ahead of time online at any of the following spots:

  4. Westfield Century City

Don't forget to make your shuttle reservation online when booking parking! For spectators looking for parking at the start line of the marathon near Dodger Stadium, parking will be open to cars beginning at 3 a.m. on March 17. Just be aware that shuttle transportation from the finish line to the stadium is not available!
