Rosie’s Dog Beach‍

Rosie’s Dog Beach is a dedicated area of Long Beach just for pups. It’s located on Ocean Boulevard between Roycroft and Argonne Avenues. This “dog zone” is four acres long and allows dogs to enjoy the waves, splash in the water, or sit and relax in the sun. The beach also has pet-friendly amenities like pooper scoopers and waste bags available as well. Dogs are allowed daily from 6 am to 8 pm.

Runyon Canyon‍

This popular spot for pups includes off-road hiking trails and a spacious off-leash area within the park. Dogs can roam freely around the trails and the canyon, and you’ll be treated to great views of LA at the same time. Still plan to bring a leash even if you plan to spend most of your time in the off-leash area, as you’ll need one to enter and exit the park. The off-leash area can be accessed by the park entrance on North Fuller Avenue.

Sepulveda Basin‍

Located just outside LA in Encino, this no-leash-needed dog park is well maintained and provides plenty of green spaces for dogs to stretch their legs. There are several runs and fenced off areas for small and large dogs, so your pup can enjoy playing around without fear. There are also specific areas for small dogs under 20 pounds.
