Looking for the perfect LA evening? You’ll find that all roads lead to the LACMA. From April through November, the LACMA’s outdoor area becomes a weekly hub for great jazz music and fun community gatherings. Jazz at LACMA is one of the city’s very best free live music offerings, with thousands of visitors every month coming together to enjoy an evening of great performances. In the past, the concert series has featured revered artists including Wayne Shorter, John Clayton, Kenny Burrell, Cannonball-Coltrane Project, and Ernie Watts. Come early in the afternoon to tour the LACMA’s many exhibits and art installations and make a day of the whole outing. Come sunset, you’ll love unwinding outdoors with food, drinks, and the soothing sound of jazz. It’s easy to get caught up in the craziness of LA, but this iconic concert series is the ideal remedy for some musical r&r.
