Spring is here, and that means outdoor movie screenings are back in Hollywood!
First up is the Rooftop Cinema Club at The Montalban theater, which just started its new season of movie screenings this month. Located on the rooftop of the building, these screenings feature comfortable deck chairs, personal earphones for sound and even blankets if you get cold. There's food and a bar, too. This year's slate of films include this year's Oscar nominees "Get Out," "Call Me By Your Name," "Dunkirk" and "Phantom Thread," as well as fan favorites "Mean Girls," "The Breakfast Club" and "La La Land," among many others. There also will be several Old Hollywood films, including "All About Eve," "Some Like it Hot" and "Casablanca."
In May, Cinespia launches its summer series with "The Neverending Story." Cinespia, which takes place on the grounds of Hollywood Forever Cemetery, allows you to bring a picnic to enjoy the films -- literally among the stars of yesteryear. It's a unique outdoor Hollywood moving-going experience you won't soon forget.
